DALLAS – Meloney Perry, Dallas insurance defense lawyer and founder of Perry Law PC, has been appointed the 2018-19 Vice Chair of the Council of Chairs Committee for the State Bar of Texas.
“I take pride in mentoring and guiding lawyers throughout their careers,” said Ms. Perry. “Staying active with the State Bar and joining the Council of Chairs Committee is a great way to support lawyers as they confront a variety of challenging issues.”
The Council of Chairs panel is responsible for assigning a representative to each State Bar section. The section chairs meet regularly to tackle issues or concerns confronting particular sections and the State Bar. The committee makes recommendations to the State Bar Board of Directors.
In June, Ms. Perry completed her role as chair of the Insurance Law Section of the State Bar, which helps educate and guide attorneys on all sides of Texas insurance laws, and produces the Journal of Texas Insurance Law, written and edited by section members to provide continuing education.
